Collect Storage
A motorcycle strapped upright inside a Collect Storage van

Motorbike storage in Kent, from £7 a week

Somewhere dry and locked up for your bike, so it stops taking up the garage or sitting under a cover on the drive.

Motorcycle storage

Motorcycle storage means keeping your bike somewhere secure while you are not riding it. Ours is an indoor warehouse in Kent, alarmed and monitored by 24-hour CCTV with motion sensors. Your bike is kept inside and locked against the wall. Prices start at £7 a week.

We can collect your bike and bring it back, or you can bring it to our warehouse yourself, whichever suits you. Collection fees vary,* so we quote that along with the storage when we talk.

* Our free collection and return offer does not apply to motorcycle storage. Collection is quoted with the bike.

Where your bike actually sits

A cover and a bungee keeps the rain off, and that is about all it does.

Indoors, in our warehouse

Our warehouse is in Kent and your bike is kept inside it. It is under a roof and out of the weather the whole time it is with us.

Locked against the wall

Bikes are secured against the wall rather than left standing loose on a floor. Nothing gets stacked around them and nothing leans on them.

Alarmed and monitored

The building is alarmed and monitored by 24-hour CCTV with motion sensors. There is no public access, so nobody is wandering past your bike on the way to their own storage.

We are members of the CSTA

The Container Self-Storage and Traders Association sets the standards we work to, and publishes who is in it.

What it costs

That price includes VAT. So does everything else we quote.

  1. Prices start at £7 a week

That is the storage price and it includes VAT. Tell us the make and model and we will give you the figure for your bike.

  2. Contents cover is required, and is not included

You arrange it when you book. I would rather tell you that here than have it appear on the day.

  3. Free collection does not apply to bikes

Our free collection and return offer covers household and business storage, not motorcycle storage. Collection fees vary and we quote them with the bike.

If you want to see how the same pricing works for the rest of your storage, here is what self storage actually costs in Kent.

Storing a bike over winter

Three things worth doing before it leaves you.

  • Declare it off the road. If the bike is not going out all winter you can register it as off the road with the DVLA, which stops the tax. It takes a few minutes and it is worth doing before the bike leaves you.
  • Photograph it before it goes. Every angle, in daylight. Then tell us about any marks that are already on it, so there is nothing to argue about in April.
  • Sort your cover before the bike comes in. Contents cover is a condition of storing with us, and it is far easier to organise in advance than on the day.

How it works

Four steps, and the first one is a phone call.

  1. Tell us about the bike

Make, model, and roughly how big it is. That is what we need to put a price on it.

  2. We agree a price and a day

You get the full figure before you agree to anything, including the collection fee if you want us to fetch it rather than bring it in yourself.

  3. It goes indoors and gets secured

Into the warehouse, locked against the wall, under camera. That is where it stays.

  4. You give us 24 to 48 hours' notice

Then it is ready for you. We are not a drive-up place you can turn up at, so we do need that bit of warning. Better you know now than in March.

Motorcycle storage questions

Prices start at £7 a week including VAT. What you pay depends on the bike, so ring us with the make and model and we will give you the figure for yours.

Yes. We can collect your bike and bring it back when you want it, or you can bring it to our warehouse yourself if you would rather. As much as we love our biker customers, we do not offer a free collection service, so collection fees vary and we quote them with the storage price. You have the full figure before you agree to anything.

Inside our warehouse in Kent, locked against the wall. The building is alarmed and monitored by 24-hour CCTV with motion sensors, and there is no public access to it.

Get in touch and give us 24 to 48 hours' notice, and we will have it ready for you. We are not a drive-up site you can visit whenever you like, so access is by booking a slot in advance.

Yes. Contents cover is required and it is not included in the storage price, so you arrange it when you book. We will point you at it rather than let you find out later.

No long tie-in. You only pay for what you use, and you can stop when the riding season starts again or keep it with us for longer if that suits you better.

That is everything I would want to know before handing a bike to somebody else. Storing things from the house as well? Have a read of self storage, collected and returned, or how collection and return storage works. For a bike, it is easier if we talk.
